Join Me in the Fight Against Breast Cancer 

I’m taking on an incredible challenge—the Susan G. Komen 3-Day—walking 60 miles in three days to fight breast cancer. It’s tough, but not as tough as breast cancer.

It’s not as hard as enduring chemo.

It’s not as hard as watching my sister undergo two double mastectomies.

It’s not as hard as seeing the fear in her children’s eyes when she couldn’t hold them as she healed.

It’s not as hard as knowing my brother could have lost his high school sweetheart to this disease.

We didn’t have to say goodbye—because of advances in breast cancer research. But more research is needed. 

More lives need saving.

I’m walking for my sister. For her daughter. For every person who has fought this battle—and for a future where no one has to.
