I am walking my 10th 3-day for Susan G. Komen in San Diego.  Our Atlanta-based team, Feet to Beat Breast Cancer, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.  Last year, we reached our $1M mark in team fundraising.  The team continues to grow with friends of friends and family in other states.

Every year, I walk for someone new with breast cancer.  It is hard to believe.  I carry all of the names with me every year of friends and family who have had breast cancer when I do this 60 mile walk.   

To those of you I have walked for or those of you who also share with me the loss of a friend or family member: I want you to know you are never forgotten.  You are never alone.  I carry each of you with me ? especially when my foot hits the pavement.  Unfortunately this list is too long but I honor each of you more than you will ever know and want to keep reaching out to you every year to let you know this.
