After years of politely declining when asked by my best friend to join her on the Susan G. Komen walks to fundraise for breast cancer, I finally stepped up to the plate and agreed to join her this November in San Diego!!! I dislike soliciting for donations (the reason for declining all of these years) but after losing my dad to kidney cancer back in 1993, learning that my older sister was diagnosed with a rare cancer of the appendix last year and losing friends over the years to breast cancer, I thought that it was time to get involved and help raise awareness and fundraise for an important cause. Cancer sucks regardless of what kind so any support that you can provide will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
