I Walk for My Mom: Every Dollar, Every Step Matters
I’m walking in the San Diego 3-Day once again to honor my Mom, who is living with metastatic breast cancer, and to raise funds for a cause that has deeply impacted our lives. This will be my fourth 3-Day, and I’m returning this year with even more determination and love to stomp out breast cancer once and for all.
This journey isn’t just about the miles—it's about every step I take to honor her and support others affected by breast cancer. Every dollar raised goes toward breast cancer research and support, and every donation helps bring us closer to a cure.
A glimpse of how your donations help:
- Komen is the world's leading breast cancer organization, investing nearly $1.1 BILLION in research - more than any other nonprofit and second only to the U.S. government.
- Komen has invested nearly $2.5 BILLION in advocacy and patient support services, including education, patient navigation, screening and diagnostic services, and financial assistance, serving millions of patients in more than 60 countries.
- At the federal and state levels, Komen's Center for Public Policy works to secure more than $1 BILLION for breast cancer research and critical breast cancer safety net programs annually and leads efforts for policy change needed by the breast cancer community.
- Komen aims to unite communities that are bonded by a common interest and come together to deliver a greater impact in ending breast cancer.
I humbly ask you to consider donating to my fundraising page. No amount is too small—every dollar truly makes a difference. Thank you for supporting me on this journey and for helping to make every step count.
Oh, and FUCK CANCER.
