My Breast Cancer Journey

Breast cancer has been part of my life for many years, and through it I?ve learned just how important awareness, research, and community truly are. While my journey has included several surgeries, I feel incredibly fortunate to be here today?healthy, strong, and determined to help others.

In 2012, I began walking to raise awareness and funds, and since then my teams have logged hundreds of miles and raised thousands of dollars. Each step reminds me that we walk not only for ourselves, but for every survivor, fighter, and loved one touched by breast cancer.

This year, I?ll be walking 40 miles over 2 days in San Diego with my husband, Angus, and our friends, Mark and Jennel Massey, as Team Mission ImPINKable. Together, we walk to honor, remember, and support.
