I am honored to join thousands in San Diego as we raise funds for the "Susan G. Komen 3-Day" walk to end breast cancer.
This will be my 9th event as a 1-Day walker in beautiful city of San Diego, California. (During the 3-Day event participants walk 20-60 miles.) My initial goal, this year, is to raise $750.
The training for 1, 2, or 3 days is more than a simple walk in the park! It's our opportunity to raise awareness and funds, educate and inform, as well as promote this cause with our hearts, minds, and especially the soles of our feet.
It's not easy to walk 20, 40, or 60 miles . . . but it's not as hard as fighting breast cancer!
