Please support me as I commit once again to this incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be blisteringly hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer, not as hard as chemo, not as hard as not being able to taste anything for months on end. Not as hard as scanxiety.  Not as hard as knowing that my 17 year old daughter needs to start getting mammograms because my breasts betrayed me at the tender age of 26, and she's already a year late on the recommended 10 years younger to start surveillance than her mom was at age of diagnosis.  And that is why I know I have to do this. That is why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to eradicate this beast before it has a chance at wreaking serious havoc on my only child.  This year, Katri is walking with me for the first time!!  Please donate to her or my efforts, as we each strive to raise $2,300 toward continued research and development!!
