I appreciate your support in this journey!  My breast cancer journey began with my friend, Michelle in 2010.  Then, my sister...then me in 2012, I was 32 years old. I had a one-year-old and a three-year-old.  My journey involved multiple surgeries, infections, more surgeries, and lots of questions.  Since my last surgery in 2017, I have been cancer free! Unfortunately, since then several of my friends have received the breast cancer diagnosis also.  I do this walk because it is a challenging, fun, memorable event that helps me feel like I am doing something to raise awareness and raise money for breast cancer research.
