In 2004, a colleague asked a few of us to join him in a 3 day event supporting breast cancer awareness. We would be members of the medical crew. I said "yes" because I believed that finding a cure for breast cancer would eventually mean a cure for all cancers. The only person I knew with breast cancer was a co worker. Little did I know, I would still be cruising down to San Diego every November to participate in the Susan G.  Komen 3 Day. I walked in 2005 and 2015. I have also been a member of the medical and shuttle crews. I will be walking in 2025 for my Aunt Kathy and Aunt Mary and for all survivors and angels.
