This year, I am proud and humbled to be walking in my 23rd and 24th Susan G. Komen 3-Day events — Boston in August and San Diego in November. That’s 120 miles in total, and one powerful mission: a world without breast cancer.
I walk in memory of those who lost their battle.
I walk in celebration and honor of survivors and thrivers.
And I walk with hope — that someday, there will be a cure.
This year’s Boston walk is especially meaningful. My mom's dear friend Beth, a breast cancer survivor, will be walking her very first 3-Day. Her courage not only inspired my mom to join the 3-Day years ago, but it continues to inspire all of us to keep fighting, keep walking, and keep hoping.
I’ve set an ambitious goal: to raise $10,000combined for both walks. These funds will support groundbreaking research, vital treatment, and care for those affected by breast cancer.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you. Your support has carried me through 22 walks, and I hope you'll be with me for number 23 and 24. Together, we can help save lives.
