Well, it's that time of year again, Susan G. Komen 3-Day Fundraising time! You have been on this journey with me before, some of you for many years, so you know just how important this commitment is to me.
My fight began many years ago when my Mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
I was in shock and unable to comprehend the challenges she would face. Physically, mentally, and emotionally, the experience remains unimaginable.
I am certain that many of you have also been touched by the horrible news that someone you love has been diagnosed with breast cancer and it is a heartbreaking reality... This is why I walk!
My fundraising goal is $2300, and I am committed to making a DIFFERENCE!
This will be my 21st year participating in the San Diego 3-Day. That's 21 years taking this 60-mile journey and 21 years asking you my friends and family, to support me and this meaningful cause.
This year, Team Refuse to Lose and I will dedicate these 60 miles to our cherished friends and family who are survivors. Thankfully, the list is long.
We will also say a prayer for our loved ones who have lost their battle... and we will not end our journey until we reach our destination...
a world without breast cancer.
