Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. I did my first walk in 2004, after being diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 40. I did not let the diagnosis get the best of me. I powered through the bilateral mastectomy, rounds of chemo that left me unable to walk for over a month and rounds of radiation. Through it all I had the support of family and friends. This year alone I had two close friends hear the words “you have breast cancer”. My heart sank. I remember those words vividly as if it were yesterday.  I’m choosing to walk again to support them as well as others who are now fighting this battle. Please give and support this cause.
