Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as fighting breast cancer.
I know I’m up to the challenge because five years ago I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). On August 15, 16, and 17, I will walk 20 miles each day in the Susan G. Komen New England 3-Day Walk. I had a lumpectomy on August 13, 2020, so this walk will be a celebration for me of being five years cancer free!
I had mammograms and biopsies. I listened to the the doctor tell me I had cancer. I went through surgery, chemo, and radiation. Those things were tough. And that’s why I know I have to do this, because I'm grateful to be alive.
I’m walking for those affected by breast cancer, so that we can end it forever. Thanks for any support that you can give me.
