Last year, I had the honor of participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day 60-mile walk in Denver, a powerful experience that brought me closer to the fight against breast cancer. This year, I’m walking in Boston, fueled by even more determination. I walk in honor of my mom, who beat breast cancer 18 years ago, and for my childhood friend, diagnosed just a few months ago, who is currently fighting the disease. I also walk for the countless friends, family, and loved ones whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Every step is for hope, strength, and a future without cancer.
