Next August I will be joining an amazing group of babes for the 3-day 60 mile Susan G. Komen Walk in Boston.

Most people have had someone in their life diagnosed with breast cancer or have battled this disease themselves. My sister-in-law and our fearless team leader Heather faced this disease head on in December 2020. She battled hard while raising her two incredible boys and making sure her own patients had the care they needed (she is one of the best kidney doctors in Michigan!). She won her battle and has participated in this walk for the last several years with her sister. I am honored to be joining them this year.
