Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. My mom has been fighter her third battle with breast cancer for the past 2 years. She was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in 2022 and continues to be an inspiration to me and many others as she continues to fight this awful disease. She still teaches me and many others how to stay strong and keep moving even when all hope seems lost. My mom particated in the 3 day walk twice before years ago, before her initial diagnosis. She walked those two years in honor of her late mother but since her first battle with cancer she has been unable to walk that far. This time will be my third time walking in the 3 day and while I know how hard 60 miles can be, it’s nothing compared to what she and many other breast cancer fighters go through. I look forward to sharing her story with many others over the course of the 3 days and look forward to joining with others to demonstrate that hope is still strong.
