This year, every step I take is dedicated to the incredible Laura Hartman—a true warrior for the cure, and an even more extraordinary friend. Laura was fierce, fearless, and full of heart. She was dedicated to raising awareness and support for breast cancer, and she did it all with style, spirit, and unstoppable energy.

One of my favorite memories is when we walked the Avon 39 together. We laughed—truly laughed—for all 39 miles. It was Laura who taught me how to finish every walk with a confident stride as if we were models walking a runway.. "like a hanger" as she put it.. and to this day, I still cross every finish line that way, channeling her joy and determination.

Laura faced her battle with leiomyosarcoma the same way she lived her life: with her head held high, a radiant smile on her face, and dressed to the nines. She was—and will always be—Wonder Woman in my eyes. I miss her every day.

This walk is for her. For her laughter. For her fight. For her legacy.
