Please support me as I commit to the Susan G. Komen 3 day walk. Due to previous engagements, I can’t do the full 3 days but I’ve committed to one day, 20 miles. It won't be easy and will be challenging, but nothing could be harder than fighting cancer.
Walking may give me sore feet, broken toe nails and a few blisters, but it’s definitely not nearly close to comparing how hard fighting cancer is - from chemo treatments, to the patiently unknown waiting for new scan results, to the the every day mind games it plays and even some times to having to say the hardest goodbyes. I’ve seen way too many kindhearted people affected by cancer: coworkers, acquaintances, high school friends, social media peeps, close friends and even my own immediate family (cousins, Nonno, Grammy, both in-laws and both of my own parents … some who’ve lost their battles and others who continue to struggle daily and battle this life-altering disease and that’s why I know I have to do this. I want to help in whatever way I can to try and find a cure for this horrific disease.
This year I’ll be walking with a life-long friend and my amazing daughter and I'm honored to be walking with them beside me. I'll be walking in honor and support of ALL my friends and family who continue to battle courageously (my true heroes!) to raise money in the hopes to end breast cancer (all cancers) … forever!
Please consider donating to my cause. No amount is too small and remember that NOBODY FIGHTS ALONE!
Humbled, heartfelt thank you for your consideration.
