Some things are worth the effort. Some things try their best to break us and leave us in pieces. The words you have cancer is something that no one ever wants to hear. Over the last couple of years I have had several close friends and family members diagnosed with cancer. Watching the devastation that cancer has brought down on them and our family has been tough. BUT they are stronger than cancer and they are the reason why I will be making the 3-Day journey again. My dad is a fighter, my ex-husband is a fighter, the many many friends who have heard the words cancer are fighters. I AM A FIGHTER!! When the doctor told me 6 years ago that I had skin cancer that would require surgery I was panicked. Then I took a deep breath and said not today Satan. Friends we are stronger than cancer and those of us who can stand up and walk for those that aren't able will. Is it easy, nope. Is it a challenge, more than you could ever imagine. Will I keep walking, you are darn right I will. If you can support me it would be greatly appreciated.
