Hi and thanks for opening this email and hearing my story.

Yes, I'm participating again.  I think this is year 15 or 16, I've lost count.  Chemo brain is real I tell ya.

I'd like to share that in all those years, I have raised over $20K to help fight the end to breast cancer. 

My WHY

Last month I went for my 10 year out from diagnosis mammogram.  I was so happy!  10 years out.  How great is that. Until I get the, wait here before you get dressed, from the nurse. If you've been there, you know. It's scary.  They saw something "suspicious".  You don't really hear much past that.  We scheduled a second opinion and ultrasound.  Yep, there is something "suspicious" there. Better get a biopsy.  I cried the rest of the day.  I'm praying hard, it's just nothing. But when you've had breast cancer before, it really scares the living hell out of you.  I send up prayers and will hope for the best.

Also my WHY

Patti Hughes (freaking miss you so much), Bonnie Shop (we will fight this), Debra Wilson (gone way too soon), Rosemary Temple (way too young), Dawn Halcisak (my warrior) and so many, many more.  Too many.

I don't have to raise too much this year.  Just $750 (more if possible)
