How do you ask for a 21st time?
If the Breast Cancer 3Day walk were a person, it would be legal to drink and almost done with college - maybe even married with children.
If it were a dog, it would be 147 years old. That’s a lot.
But it is not person. Not a dog. It is a sneaky disease. It’s scary as shit. Breast cancer metastasizes to other parts of the body. It pops back up - where and when you’re not expecting it. Sometimes it doesn't start in the breast at all, it just appears in other places. But, because of Susan G. Komen, people are surviving breast cancer and living with breast cancer for longer and longer periods of time. No cure has been found, YET. But maintenance can last for a long time - the rest of your life.

That is why - once again - I am asking for your help to stomp out breast cancer and finally find a true cure.
I going on 10 years and will hopefully be done with meds and “in remission” this fall. Cancer free.

This year I will be participating in all 4 cities in some capacity — walking or crewing.
After crewing again last year, I realized how much work it takes to support the walkers and the events. I'm glad I can help in many way but the biggest help comes from all of you! I need your help raise $$ to find a cure, support research, lobby to keep fund preventative measures for others, and keep pre-existing conditions in our health insurance offerings.
Last year, I was asked to apply for and then selected to serve on the Advisory Council for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3Day. As part of the council, I have seen the hidden inner workings of Susan G. Komen. Including how hard they work to fight for me and everyone else who has ever been touched by breast cancer. Finding a cure continues to be their mission, and their passion: to create a world without breast cancer. For everyone.
To participate in all four walks, my goal is $20,000.
Thanks again
