I commit to the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the 20th year! Heading to Boston this year in August.  The 3-day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It can be difficult, but it's not as hard as breast cancer. It's not as hard as chemo. It's not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It's not as hard as saying goodbye.

As I get started on my 60 mile journey I keep many in my thoughts: all of my wonderful supporters and doners, all of the Cure or Bust teammates (once a member always a member - THANK YOU Theresa Reed), our walk angels - Aunt Mary Lou, Aunt June, Sandy Houge Brewer, Carl Ortmann, Tammy G, Tammy M, Sue DeYoung, Dawn Skoog; grateful for all of our survivor friends and those still fighting Kristi Dubasik, Jill Lange, Tandie Steinmetzer, Carol Frombach Salo, Sharon Martinelli, Lisa Sears Patrocky, Wendy Peat, Kim Messenger, Ann Tieman, Ada Peterson, Rossonna Juarez, Beth Larson, Nancy Odle, Nancy Chadwell, Doreen Cornellier, Linda Loving, and Momma Strong - you are my inspiration!
