This year, I’m walking 60 miles over 3 days in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for my friend Heather Eversley.

Heather lived with metastatic breast cancer for nearly 5 years, and she faced it all with unbelievable strength, grace, and humor. She passed away in December, and I miss her every day.

This walk is hard, but it’s nothing compared to chemo, scan results, or saying goodbye to someone you love.

I’m walking, so fewer people have to go through what Heather and her family did. I’m walking for a future without breast cancer.
