Trina and I got married in May 2020 during the Covid pandemic. We had a wonderful year and celebrated our 1st anniversary by vacationing in southern California. On July 3rd of 2021 Trina was experiencing some pain in her left shoulder. After some tests and a CT scan we received some of the most devastating news possible. Trina has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. The cancer has spread throughout her entire body. We feel very blessed that the Huntsman Cancer Institute is overseeing her care and treatment. Trina has been responding very well with her treatment thus far. She’s had several side-effects, that I know are very painful, but she doesn’t complain at all. She was initially told that she could expect to live for another two to ten years depending on her response to the medications. We both are in the process now of spending as much time together as we possibly can. One of her goals is to help end breast cancer by participating in the Susan G Komen 60-mile walk, which takes place over three days this coming August. She has formed a team, which I have joined, and we will be walking together, with other friends and family members who have signed up, to support my wife, and raise money to end breast cancer. Each participant must raise $2,300 in order to participate in the walk.
Your donations to help me raise the needed $2,300 would be greatly appreciated. I would like nothing better than to walk next to, and support my wife, in the fight against breast cancer!!!
Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
Thanks so much, this means a lot to us!
