Now that my 2 lumpectomies and 1 mastectomy are behind me, I decided that I'm going to go all-in to try to raise money to help others fight back against their breast cancer too! 

The Susan G. Komen 3-Day in Denver is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days that I will be tackling Aug 1-3. 

It will be hard, but it won't be as hard as receiving a breast cancer diagnosis, having a painful biopsy and/or a scary scan. It’s certainly not as hard as chemo (which thankfully I didn't have to endure). It’s also not as hard as saying goodbye to friends and loved ones who we have lost to this and many other awful diseases. And that’s why I felt compelled to sign up to do this. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
