Hello! My name is Megan and I am participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day in Denver this year as a one day walker. I will be walking 20 miles to raise money for breast cancer.

I walk for my mom- my best friend, my role model and the strongest, most beautiful person I know! Fortunately, she received her diagnosis in the early stages and is in remission after lumpectomy and radiation. 

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. As a daughter, sister, and mother of two girls, this statistic resonates with me on a deeply personal level.
