After a successful 3-Day walk in San Diego, I have decided to walk the 60 miles in Denver in 2025.
I’ve been involved for quite a few years, first as a walker stalker when my wife Tina started walking the 3-Day. I would drive my kids around so we could cheer on Tina and her friends as well as the other walkers who were making the 60
mile journey. I then started to volunteer at the 3-Day Event in order to better support the walkers by helping at a pit-stop, then for a number of years doing route safety while riding my bike along the 60 mile route.
I have been part of this effort for years because of the good that I see them doing, both in research to end breast cancer once and for all, and in their support of people who have cancer. I have been personally touched by cancer through people I have known who have had breast cancer as well as other forms of cancer. I want to walk and raise money for the cause because of my wife and two daughters that could one day be directly affected by this disease. My hope is that we can find a cure so that they would not have to go through the pain and suffering that is involved with the treatment of breast cancer.
I would appreciate it if you would join me in the fight. I will do
the work and dedicate my time to the months of training and the final
60 mile walk. I ask for your help to raise the money that is needed
to get me to that finish line. If you have been touched by cancer,
know someone who has had breast cancer, or just want to help out in
some way, please make a donation. Large or small, it does not matter,
every little bit is a step toward the goal. The sooner I complete
the fundraising portion of this the sooner I will be able to dedicate
all of my efforts to the walk.
Thank you for your support!
