While this endeavor may present its challenges, remember that they pale in comparison to the battles faced by those fighting breast cancer. It’s a reminder that our efforts are small in the face of the courage shown by survivors enduring chemo, receiving difficult scan results, and saying goodbye to loved ones.

I am honored to be a seven-year breast cancer walker, and this marks my seventh participation in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk.
