Every year that I've walked the 3-Day for the Cure, I dread the fundraising part .... I can train. I can walk. But asking people to donate? That's the hard part. And somehow, every year, y'all come through. Your generosity and continued support has taken me through 12 events, and I'm hopeful you're willing to try for 13.

In 2017, I became a statistic. That 1 in 8 who are diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in their lifetime. That diagnosis brought surgery, chemo, radiation, more surgery, and a lifetime of worry and anxiety.
