Can I count on YOU to help me beat the big C? We have all been affected by some kind of cancer. My first interaction with cancer was when my Grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was very young. I didn't know what cancer was, Grandma had a mastectomy and took a pill for a few years and all was good. She lived to be a ripe age of 94. Fast forward a few years and many relative and friends later that have been affect by the nasty disease. The most pivotal being my mom's diagnose of small cell lung cancer. She fought a good fight but as we know cancer doesn't fight fair. She lost her battle just shy of 2 years of her initial diagnoses. Currently I have a very dear friend going thru uterine cancer. So again.. Cancer is Cancer and it ALL SUCKS!!!
Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
