This October I'm participating in a 40 mile walk to raise funds for breast cancer research and support.
I don’t have some epic, tearjerking personal story to tell you. I’ve just seen way too many people — friends, family, loved ones — get dragged through the nightmare that is cancer, including my dear friend/sister whose mom fought through it with unbelievable strength.
Cancer sucks. Full stop.
It doesn’t care who you are, how old you are, or what plans you had for your life. It barges in uninvited and wrecks everything.
I’m walking because, while I can’t personally invent a cure (scientists, I’m counting on you), I can raise some money to help the people who are working their butts off to make it happen.
So if you hate cancer as much as I do (and honestly, who doesn’t?), please consider donating.
Every dollar gets us one tiny step closer to telling cancer to kindly go **** off.
Thanks for the support — and for being part of the team that believes we can actually beat this stupid disease.
If you are unable to donate online, please print out a donation form.
