Some losses leave a mark that never fades. I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was 11. She was just 44. The older I get—especially now as a mom myself—the more I understand just how much she carried, how much she gave, and how much was taken from her… and from us.
I walk because I’m a daughter who still misses her mom.
I walk because I’m a mother who wants a different future for my own girls.
I walk because breast cancer is still stealing too many lives too soon.
My mom was compassionate, strong, funny, and brave—and her story deserves more than an ending. So I walk. To carry her forward. To fund the research, education, and support services that save lives. To make sure more moms get to stick around for the little moments and the big milestones.
My goal is to raise $2,500 before I walk 60 miles in 2025. Every donation brings us closer to a cure—and means the world to me.
Thank you for walking beside me in spirit!
