Hey Y’all – I’m doing it again!

I’ve signed up for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk—60 miles over 3 days—to fight for something so much bigger than myself. This journey will be tough, no doubt. My feet will hurt, my body will ache, and there will be moments I want to quit.

But none of that compares to what so many brave individuals face every single day:

It’s not as hard as hearing “you have breast cancer.”

It’s not as hard as enduring chemotherapy.

It’s not as hard as waiting on scan results or saying goodbye far too soon.

That’s why I’m walking. That’s why I’m pushing through. That’s why I’m raising money.

Every step I take is for the mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, and loved ones who’ve fought, are fighting, or will fight this disease. I walk with purpose, with hope, and with the unwavering belief that we can end breast cancer for good.
