This year, my family and I will be yet again participating in the Susan G. Komen 60-Mile Breast Cancer Walk in Dallas, October 26th - 28th! It?s a cause that means a great deal to us, joining thousands in walking to honor family members and friends who have battled and won, or lost, the fight to breast cancer.
Our family's team name is Team Squirrel, named for my aunt who passed away from breast cancer. Since then, we've had more cases in our family, and countless friends impacted.

For those of you who don't know, the Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it?s not as hard as breast cancer. It?s not as hard as chemo. It?s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It?s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that?s why we do this! We to end breast cancer forever.
