Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Two years ago, I completed the walk for my first time with my mom and aunts by my side. Sabrina tagged along in my belly, as I was just 5 weeks pregnant at the time. Mom and I got so much closer on that walk and I’m forever grateful to have had that experience with her.  

The 2 years that followed were filled with so many ups and downs, days of hope and days of fear. Through it all, mom stayed so positive and we all believed she would push through. None of us expected her rapid decline or sudden departure. She may have lost her fight with breast cancer, but the rest of us will continue fighting in her memory.

Please consider donating to help me raise funds for continued breast cancer research. It’s because of this research that mom was able to receive the treatments that delayed her disease progression. One day, I pray there is a cure to end this difficult disease - and that is why we walk!
