CANCER touches so many we know and love. Would you join me to support breast cancer research, advocacy and education?
During the weekend of October 24-26, I’ll be walking in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day in Dallas, Texas. It’s a 60 mile journey, over 3 days, with my teammates and hundreds of others. It will likely be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I'm doing this – to end breast cancer forever.
I’m walking for my cousin, Becky (winning the battle in 2025!), pictured right in the photo; for my sister, Elaine; my niece, Jessica; and Jen, daughter of my friend Ellen; for Kylee, Renee, Jennifer and Susan. I am walking in honor of our Forever Team Captain, Gwynne, and her surviving twin sister Stephanie. The list of those we care about goes on.
In the coming two weeks my goal is to raise over $2,300.00 in order to participate in this meaningful event.
Your opportunity has two parts:
+ Pray for safety and that I will be an encouragement to those we meet along the way.
+ Donate—any size will help.
Thanks in advance.
Patty
Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
How we’re helping
Susan G. Komen is the ONLY organization that addresses breast cancer on multiple fronts such as research, community health, global outreach and public policy initiatives in order to make the biggest impact against this disease.
