Some people might call me crazy, but I?m officially doing it again. Next month, I?ll be putting on my walking shoes to walk another 60 miles over 3 days in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day in Dallas.
Last year?s walk was one of the most powerful and uplifting experiences of my life. I went in preparing for a tough physical challenge, but what I found was pure joy and inspiration. Being surrounded by thousands of people?walkers, volunteers, and supporters?all united for one purpose was incredibly moving. The powerful stories, the cheering on the sidelines, and the shared hope in the air made every single step feel meaningful. The experience filled me with so much energy and purpose, I knew I had to be a part of it again.
The fight against breast cancer is deeply personal?it has touched four generations of my family. I?m not walking in tribute to one person, but in defiance of a disease that has taken too much from us all. I am walking to help rewrite the story for the next generation, and to take a stand for a future where no family has to endure this devastating cycle again.
The commitment is the same: 60 miles on my feet and a goal to raise $2,300 to fund breakthrough breast cancer research and provide critical patient care.
Last year, your generosity blew me away and helped me crush my goal. I'm hoping I can count on your incredible support once again. Any donation, big or small, helps fuel my journey and brings us closer to a world without breast cancer.
Thank you for being part of my journey?last year, this year, and until we find a cure.
