As I reflect on the past five years without my sister Stephanie, I am reminded of the devastating impact that breast cancer has on individuals and their loved ones. It is a disease that not only affects the physical health of those diagnosed, but also takes a toll on their emotional and mental well-being. That is why I have made it my mission to participate in the Susan G. Komen 3-day 60 mile walk. I want to honor my sister's memory by raising awareness and funds for this cause that is so close to my heart. I am reaching out to you, with a sincere hope for support and donations. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Thank you for standing with me in this important journey.
It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That’s why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever.
