Each and every day, I hold close the memories of my cherished friend Kimber. I am inspired to walk in her honor. Kimber wasn't just a college roommate; she was my confidant, travel buddy and a steadfast presence in my life for nearly four decades. Though our time together was too short, I'm grateful for the countless special moments we shared.
Kimber's battle with cancer is a reminder that this disease touches us all. As I walk in her memory, I also walk for my daughter, Marlee, and for the other friends and family members whose lives have been affected by cancer. As dark as that sounds, there is hope.
Join me as I take part in the Susan G. Komen Walk alongside Team Think Pink in San Diego from November 15-17, 2024. While I'll be walking for just one day, my heart and spirit will be with my teammates who are walking 60 miles over 3 days.
Together we hope to make a difference, to support research, and to provide assistance to those fighting breast cancer. Your support means so much to me, and every donation brings us one step closer to a future without this disease.
Thank you for standing beside me in this journey of remembrance and hope.
