It is hard to imagine that this is my 10th walk and more than 14 years ago I did my own personal journey with breast cancer. Each year as I do this walk and as they say as part of the "Pink Bubble" I reflect on my personal journey, the stories that I have heard from some of the most inspirational people I have ever met, and remember those we have lost. And each year I am honored to add more amazing friendships, strengthen others, and know in some small way I am making a difference.
This walk and my journey have shown me the love and support of my friends and family, the importance of being there for others in their journeys, the amazing friendships I discovered, and an increase in my faith that God is there with me through every step and does have a plan for each of us. Walking 60 miles is not easy but what I get out of it year after year is priceless. We all have lost someone to cancer and we all have examples where like my story there are successes because we found it early.
I will be again walking the 3 day in San Diego in November - who can beat the location and more importantly the weather. I hope that you will continue to keep our team in your prayers and if you can help me financially. And please let me know if we can add someone to our list of who we walk for both as survivors and those that we keep in our hearts,
Love you all!
