I have decided to walk once again for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day 60 mile walk. The walk is over a 3 day period. This will be my 3rd walk.
It has a been an amazing experience as a SURVIVOR to participate in this event.
Please support me as I commit to this incredible challenge.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2020 right during COVID. My tumor needed shrinking before they could perform surgery so treatment started to shrink the tumor. August 19, 2021 I had my surgery and rang the bell after 20 sessions of radiation on October 29, 2021.
Training for this event is hard, but it's not as hard as breast cancer. It's not as hard as getting bad news of your latest scan. It's not as hard as chemo and it's not has hard to saying goodbye to someone who has lost their battle. That's why I'm walking and why I'm raising money- to end breast cancer forever.
The walk this year is August 23-25 and will be in Boston. Chicago is no longer available for the 3-day walk.
Please support me in this cause that means so much to me.
