In 2011, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After 13 years of countless trials, surgeries, medications, and scans, I was FINALLY declared cancer-free earlier this year! Unless you have been down this road (and it is always my deepest desire that no one else is ever part of this club), you may not understand the conflicted relief this new stage of my life is. I am belong grateful that I have outlived my life expectancy. Every day is truly a gift. But in the back of my mind, I still can hear a faint whispher saying, "I'll be back." I know... silly voices in my head. I should ignore them all! But to suddenly be back in general population is awkward. I carry physical and emotional scars that stimulataneously wear with pride and hide like hell. So I continue to fight. During this fight, you and I have raised just shy of $30,000 for Komen. We have raised more for other cancer organitions as well. But the Komen was the first organization to reach out to me when I was daignosed. And I never forget who has back -- you, my dear friends and family, and those who are part of my Pink Bubble family. Can you help get us over the $30K mark? Maybe this is year we finally (Please, Dear Lord) eradicate breast cancer.
