Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk in Boston over the course of three days. This will be my 39th long-distance walk for breast cancer research and prevention and 28th for Komen since 2011. I continue to walk in honour and memory of an inspirational yet sadly growing group of breast cancer survivors and thrivers as well as incredible warriors whose own BC journeys ended much too soon. These heroines include my dear Aunt Helen, who was diagnosed in May 2020, completed treatment and rang the bell on her own on Long Island with her family stuck on Grand Cayman and unable to be with her due to COVID-related travel restrictions imposed by the Cayman government. I am happy to report that Helen is doing great and remains cancer-free. She and everyone else in the BC community are why I walk.
I would be very grateful if you could contribute to this very important cause. All donations go towards breast cancer research, education and wellness programs and preventative screening and of course are tax-deductible.
If you are unable to donate online, please print out a donation form.
