Many of you may not be aware that 18 years ago, I lost my beloved sister, Vivian, to breast cancer. She was only 36 with no family history when diagnosed, was healthy and vibrant, and battled valiantly for 6 years before sadly succumbing to this terrible disease. She was only 42 and left her husband, 2 young children, Michael and Emma, and many other friends and loved ones behind.
Those who know me well know that I am passionate about the fight against breast cancer. Because of this, I have decided to join a group of friends’ team, Bust A Move, to raise money for this cause. August 23rd-25th, I will be participating in The Susan G. Komen 3-Day, 60-mile walk in Boston. Through generous donations of family, friends, and fellow supporters of this very worthy cause, my personal goal is to raise $2300. Please help me to achieve this goal ANY amount, large or small is greatly appreciated!
This walk will no doubt be challenging, but it won’t be as hard as being diagnosed with breast cancer. It won’t be as hard as needing radiation, painful surgery, and grueling chemotherapy treatments. And it most certainly won’t be as hard as saying goodbye to a beloved friend or family member. Please join me in my efforts with the fight against breast cancer
Thank you in advance for your support and generosity!
