Please support me as I commit to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as having breast cancer or saying goodbye to someone you love. 

Like countless others, I know so many brave survivors, as well as some women currently in battle. I have also been blessed to know and love so many of the sons and daughters of women whose lives were cut short due to breast cancer. 

These courageous women are in my family and in my circle of friends. The immensity of their love and kindness has moved me, more than just once or twice, in ways that make me feel their unrelenting spirit, unyielding passion, and unbroken hearts. I am walking to reinforce the steps these women have taken to cherish life, always moving forward, even when knocked back.
