Hi! I’m Emily! In 2023 I am a 5 city walker striving to raise $25,000 to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer! I walked my first 3 day in 2017 in Michigan as a celebration for my mother in law who had just won her battle with breast cancer. I continued to walk in Michigan in 2018, 2019, and 2021. In February of 2021 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the age of 29. No family history, little to no known risk factors. Cancer doesn’t discriminate! This year I am challenging myself to walk 300 miles and raise $25,000 both for myself and for all the women and men continuing to be diagnosed. We walk because we must, until there is a cure.
