I am back again.  After my first appeal I've moved toward the $2300 Komen goal but still need some donations to get there.  I hope you have forgotten or procrastinated giving and not sent me to junk mail.. We (Monica & I) are looking forward to walking with the Komen Breast Cancer family in San Diego in November.  We will be walking with survivors, their family members and families and friends of those lost to the disease.  The 60 miles and hills won't melt away but the camaradarie helps

Breast cancer is still a real thing in spite of progress and with 1 in 8 women (and some men) having it we all know people affected.   We have an extra driver this year as Janet was diagnosed with breast cancer.  It was stage 1 (Thanks for mamograms !).  She had a lumpectomy, is on hormones and is doing well but not all are so fortunate..  We will be in San Diego with Janet and Kevin being the sag wagon.  Thanks again..  Ron
