Yes, it is again the time of year when we ask for your help raising funds with the hope of finding a cure for breast cancer.  Your donation, through us, to the Susan G. Komen 3 Day Walk in San Diego, will go towards research, education, and treatment, all with the goal of ERADICATING this deadly disease. Great strides have been made in recent years, BUT this cancer will still impact 1 in 8 women plus many men. 

This is year 26 of my fundraising for Komen.  It all started in 1996 to support my best friend Linda Murphy.  Although she has had one recurrence, she is currently cancer free.  Research dollars will help her stay that way.  So far, I am also cancer free since my own diagnosis in 2019.  But that doesn’t mean either of us is without risk of recurrence.

In honor of Mother’s Day each year we try to finish our fund raising in May.  Donations submitted by May 31stwill allow us to concentrate on preparing for the 3 day event.
