This Nov 2022 I heard the words “It’s back on the left side of your breast” I was shocked to say the least  I’m a 19yr survivor how can this be? It’s now Dec 2022 and the ball is rolling to have a double mastectomy and reconstruct, Jan 2023! 

2023 Is going to be a GREAT year! 

In honor of my 20yr as a survivor my goal is to raise total 20,000 between DFW and San Diego walks! It’s a big goal but now I want to do this even more. Every dollar helps and I can’t imagine going through this again without all the research and technology advances Susan G Komen has done over the last 19yrs. This will be a new battle for me but I’m 100% sure I will be a second time WINNER!!

I have committed to an incredible challenge. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. It will be hard, but it’s not as hard as breast cancer. It’s not as hard as chemo. It’s not as hard as getting bad news at your latest scan. It’s not as hard as saying goodbye. And that’s why I know I have to do this. That's why I commit. This is why I’m walking and why I’m raising money – to end breast cancer forever. 

In 2023 I will be a 20yr (2) times breast cancer Survivor! This walk will be my 22nd, 60 mile 3Day walk.

I walk for those I know who have lost the fight, for those who continue to fight and all those I know who have won the fight! I pray one day we can all take a long walk for pure enjoyment.
