22 years. I have survived breast cancer for 22 years. I feel as if I am a part of a miracle. From August 25-27, 2023, Kevin and I coincidentally will participate in our 22dn Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer 3 Day in Denver.

Kevin has mostly walked the 60 miles over 3 days and I have mostly crewed the event.This year Kevin and I will drive a Sweep van for the second year in a row! We’ll pick up walkers who are having difficulty and we’ll take them to the next pit stop or take them to camp.  Not only we will offer a ride, but we’ll hopefully offer them encouragement, and hope. 

My goal this year is to raise $2200, one hundred dollars for each year of survivorship. There is not enough room here to list all the Komen discoveries since I was diagnosed. So if you are able, please support me to so that we can cure this insidious disease once and for all.
